How long does an Intercom migration take?

Not long — one to two weeks typically. Smaller migrations (one object, modest volume) can be done very quickly; larger ones with knowledge bases & other complexities can run longer.

Can you migrate help centre articles too?

Yes. Help centre articles, categories & structure all migrate — & we usually take the migration as a chance to review the articles for Fin AI suitability while we’re at it.

How do you handle the migration without breaking live conversations?

We always aim to set the main migration going at a time when there should be a minimised level of activity in the source & destination systems, refreshing the data right before we do so. This helps reduce the risk of missing important data that your team are inputting in real time.
